Halloween in Newquay

Trick or treat? Beware as Newquay Cornwall prepares for a scare!

Get the garlic out or join in the fun, it’s almost Halloween time! Some of the most frightful ghosts and ghouls are out to play from Fistral Beach to Watergate Bay. With buckets going on, Newquay is the place to visit. Find the best in live music, fancy dress competitions, bobbing for apples and all the traditional spooks and thrills you’d expect, plus more!

Nearby Crealy Adventure Park will be going on a witch hunt and scary fairy tales will be recited at Newquay’s own “ZooBoo” evening. The highly anticipated Newquay Zombie Crawl, proudly supported by Newquay BID is to start at the new Ben and Jerry’s ice cream parlour at 2:30pm. The living dead will then continue to parade to the Cribbar at 3pm and along both Bank Street and East Street until they reach the Hotel Victoria at around 4pm, which is to host a monster mash celebration for the little terrors.

Flambards or “El Flambardos” is to host a rather flamboyant masked ball for the adults on November 1st. The park is said to be open until 6am, plenty of time to explore the many gripping rides by moonlight and catch some comedy entertainment.

Mor Lodge will start the night off with a bang! The “Pumpkin Paradise” at Mor bar on Mountwise, which overlooks the creepy town below will be offering themed drinks and Halloween party games to get visitors into the spirit.

Party goers will be pleased to hear that popular night clubs and bars such as Sailors Arms, Berties, Chy Bar and Walkabout will likely be decking their halls with cobwebs and spooky  seasonal offers.
